He is a 5 pt from what we can tell. Long spike on one side with a brow tine, other is three on the beam with no brow. Doesn't appear to be any injury I can see, but don't know. What say the thf? injury, genetics, shoot, pass? Think he is probably 2.5, maybe 3. Thanks

That'll be an injury of some kind.

probably snapped the main beam off is what I'm guessing.
could be wrong though.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Well I guess if its a break the middle pic on its own isn't grounds enough to put him down. Maybe see what he turns into.

Unless you want gay deer running around... Well... I guess it would cut down on the number of deer we would need to shoot a year.

I would think that's an injury, I'd have to pass and see I think.

One of his sparring buddies may of wacked his beam off while doing the standing hoof swat. My mom watched two big ones do the sparring match the other day, and she said man I wished I could of got that on video. She has two giants on their land. She hasn't been able to hunt much because of step dads poor health, but she insured me that this season it was going to happen. Maybe he is a three year old, because his back looks really straight and he is way bigger than that yearling.
Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

If you do not know what he was last year, then I would give him a pass.
