Anyone running a Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x20mm on an AR? I've got a 16" mid-length BCM topped with an Aimpoint T1/Bobro QD mount combo that I'm thinking about replacing with the Leupold in either a LaRue or Bobro mount. My old eyes could probably benefit from the 4x, and I don't think 1.25x versus a true 1x is going to be much of a factor closer in. I've got other ARs that are geared a little more towards "bump in the night" situations, so this is more of a range/SHTF rifle but remains part of the regular rotation.

I'm looking for first hand info, comments, etc to help me on the decision. Again, nothing wrong with a T1, but I'm thinking the 4x might be a nice option.

Thanks in advance.

I've got two of those... one on a Sig 516 and the other on a 716. i went with the leupold mark 2 integral mount. It's a really nice scope... but I've only taken them out to 50 yards so far. No complaints.

I'm sure there are a few more folks that can add better feedback with more rounds than I've got... but I thought i'd give you a quick thumbs up.
