I hunt etx, Rusk county to be exact. I'm planning on planting Labor day. Last year I went with Buck forage oats and iron and clay peas. Thought about doing something different this year. Any Recommendations?? Pretty sure im just going to go with Heavy grazer oats and something else...all the Buck blends im finding seem to be 90 percent oats or Rye anyways and double the price of heavy grazer. Thought about trying Austrian Peas I've read they will hold up through winter pretty well. So just looking for opinions...

Past few years I have put down a blend of oats and wheat, have had good stand every time, better with rain.
You can get both at east Texas seed in tyler. texas
