Anyone ever tried for Geese on Richland Creek WMA? I was going to be in the area for a dove hunt and have an extra free day on the books. Trying to decide if I want to try my hand at a Geese hunt or just stick to Dove

Never really seen a huntable amount out there. Now down on some private land off the river, I have seen a winter wheat field covered in geese. Coach

Never saw any huntable numbers of geese on the wma when we hunted it either..
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

From reading other posts, once shooting starts on the privet land mentioned, its like dove hunting on ponds, geese will scatter, & might get chance... Did lots of duck & geese hunting in Mn.. State & Fed. stamps, then it went ta steel shot, it got expensive... Being at right place & time, plays in... They might have goose hunts on privet land available on guided hunts section...
