I used to use rem oil, but it left a sticky film on the gun parts.
Has 3 in 1 oil been used by anyone here. It's a good thin oil, like air tool oil. Think 3 in 1 would work good.

New question, what works well that doesn't leave a film on parts

What exactly do you mean by "no chemicals?"

Believe it's plant extract- even cleans chokes. No petroliates (spelling?) I also use slip 2000 to soak parts overnight. It strips everything- so must oil up afterwards

Corrosion X. It is not cheap and can be hard to find except by mail order. It is also all I use on fishing reels.
