Anyone hunting with a handgun this year? If so what are you using?

Thought about dusting off my T/C Contender and putting the 35rem bbl on it. Use to use it a lot but for the last few years it's just been happily taking up space in the safe....

If I get the opportunity, I'll use my Wichita 7mm IHMSA or my Contender in .300 Savage.

I picked up a 30-30 barrel for my Thompson Contender last year, I might try using it if conditions are right.

One of these 2 will be with me this year. Just depends on how mad I am at something that day as to which one it will be.

I have shot a few nice bucks and some big hogs with a S&W 500 Mag. It's overkill, but it sure is a cool gun to have.

350 gr Sierra JHP at 2,000 fps, it's nasty.
