I just picked up a lease. It's my first one. I'll be wanting a feeder, or two. Any suggestions on what the best feeder is OR which ones are crap and I should stay away from them?

I'm open to suggestions from some of y'all who have been wrangling deer feeders for years!

Stay away from "wildgame innovations" hands down. Best for the money if your looking at normal small size feeders (300 lbs) is probably the allseasons. Great product at $250 and I believe a good majority of people who have used all seasons products have been happy with it.

HB stand and fill. They will last forever and are worth the money in the long run. Whatever you do get a stand and fill, I wish we had been smart enough them like this 25 years ago. No death trap ladders and no crush yourself winch ups. IMO

Moultrie Easy Lock from academy. Light, reliable, short, not too expensive and the controls are on the side at face level. I'm 5'7 and have a sore back but it is easy to use. No tools needed. They need to pay me for this........

I like moultrie feeders. We've got a few that pushing 20 years old and are still working very well. At the price of moultrie feeders, I don't think you get much more for your money. Don't get the timer that runs of a solar photocell that says it will throw at sunup and an hour before dusk, they don't throw at the right times. Go with the manual timer where you set an actual time for the feeder to throw corn.

Just bought one of the 600# All Seasons Stand & Fills. Hopefully will work as good as I've heard.

I have 3 of the 600# Stand and fill from All Seasons. Great feeders. I had one where the varmint door broke due to poor welding after 3 months. I called All Seasons and he told me it was no problem and to use it until it was empty. I called him when it was almost empty and he found a local dealer that had one in stock and I loaded it on the trailer and took it to the local dealer and they switched it out no questions asked and I took the new feeder back to the ranch! Great company and great feeders!!!
