The spot I plan to hunt for waterfowl this coming year is about a mile walk over uneven terrain. I recently herniated a disk in my back and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas how I can drag decoys, my gun, shells, etc. to my spot? I usually carry all that stuff in bags on my back/shoulders but I just don't think it's in my best interest to do that anymore w/ this injury. I've thought about sleds, wagons, or luggage trolleys and I'm hoping to get the forum's opinion who might have the same need/experience.

Invite someone to hunt with you. The cost is being the pack mule.

Doz Texas rig G&H deeks, let the sand out of the keel, 1oz weights or even less, $5.99 dove stool at academy, cut the pouch off, hide in cover. This will weight nothing.
I have had a bad back for 20 years. One mile walk-ins I'll take 18 deeks, Mojo, stool, small back pack with coffee and jerk string, shells... But on uneven terrain I would not take this much gear, cut the deeks back to 1 doz.... And, the cabela's jeanwaders makes them long walks much easier..

Dude, I cant think of a worse situation for someone with a herniated disc than walking in on a death march carrying all your crap.
Either get some young cokkstrong man to carry all yo trash, or get a boat.
