Stopped by Mc Queeney Gun Club last weekend, has them on order but not in yet. Saw a couple on Gun Broker but they were asking way over MSRP

I think the nickel plated version is a pretty gun but check out this review.

I haven't handled one but the writer of the review clearly doesn't understand or appreciate lightweight shotguns. They are designed to be carried a lot and shot a little (it kind of rules out dove shooting). Lightweight guns put extreme pressure on technique and require superb fit. I'm someone whose chased pheasants all day with an 8 1/2 lb gun, I understand the attractiveness of a 6 1/2 lb gun, I currently have two side by sides that weigh 6 1/2 and 6 3/4 lbs.

Even with the bad review I picked up the 28inch nickel one yesterday. Looks nice...

I'm going to wait until they bust out the 20 gauge. But then again, I haven't put my hands on the new 828U 12 gauge.

Its weak, problematic ejection, vulgar aesthetics, high recoil and annoyingly violent gun movement is topped-off with a nosebleed price. This, despite its low build cost, means that the 828U is a product condemned to please no one.

Ouch

Swings easy, shoots good with no malfunctions, kicks less than my red lable and par with my legacy. Has an auto safety that had to go. Give it a 9.5

Jasb I bet you use the swing through method. I've found that the biggest complainers about light weight guns are target shooters that use sustained lead. I expect that you'll do just fine, 100 rounds is where I find my shooting deteriorates with my light weight guns, everyone is different. At the end of the day, after putting many miles on, making the shot on that final flush is where lightweight guns really shine.

I looked at one today at bass pro. It was the nickel receiver I thought the fish scale design was pretty awesome. The only thing I didn't like was the rubber cushion on top od the stock. Just seems like it would wear down pretty fast.

Thought the same thing, but it can be taken off and replaced so they say.
