I saw that a few days ago. I got the impression that the guy didn't know the bear was approaching. When they are that close
its probably a mistake to take off.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.

its probably a mistake to take off. I agree....but it wouldn't be a camera I was pointing at him at that range....I'd have a bead on him with my finger very close to the trigger til he moved off to a comfortable distance...then I'd have to find a place to change pants....

So if the bear got right up to you and was headed to sit next to your gun you would've still got up and reached for the gun? The guy probably did the smartest thing he could've Cool video for sure
