Looks like we were drawn for the javelina hunt. I have never been to that park nor have I hunted javalina. Does anyone have advice they would like to share?
Thanks

Talk to the biologists when you can, they will be the best help. As for Javelina, their eyesight is not so good... you can stalk them.. I stalked one that dipped down to a water hole at Black Gap while on a Mule deer archery hunt and got 'em. They will eat corn too. I had more fun hunting them with archer equip. Good Luck!

Your in for an awesome time, been there six time since 2009! I apply for every hunt they have, the Daughtrey is by far the best WMA I've been to yet. The staff are great guys, the campsites are mowed and clean, the interior senderos are wide and wont scratch up your truck. Be sure and take a camera, you will see lots of critters of every kind. I saw javi's on every trip except one. Its a loooong way to anything so if you think you might need/want something- take it. Good luck and enjoy, post an update afterwards.

Don't make up your mind at first smell. If you plan to eat it shoot a female.
