Way to go! I like that the new Photon shows the aiming reticle on video.
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

Sorry should have added some details. The feeder is about 90 yards away. He is working his way down a hill towards a 5 gallon bucket of soured corn I laid out on a platter for him. I would say I shot him at about 70 yards.
and I am hooked on hunting at night. Just need some more pigs to show up.

The reticle is nice to have on there. I looked for 20 minutes trying to find the entry hole and never did. But I never looked in his ear hole.

Nice video and pig. Looks like he's got some good cutters too. Yea, from that grin, I'd say your hooked on the night hunting thing now.
God Bless

Well that's bc he was to big to put in the truck, the one time I don't take my side by side. Wasn't even sure I could get to him in the truck. I had to drag him about a mile up the road back to camp by his cutters, bc the rope kept slipping off his neck.

Ive learned to take a cheap cam buckle strap put it above the joint on the rear leg. Works well and you can pull multiple hogs with multiple straps.

Nicely done Sir! I do like the reticle showing on the XT. I have a Photon 5X on my backup rifle and have used it a few times. It is kind of annoying during playback because you can't seen the reticle. Still kills pigs tho!
As for dragging hogs, I keep two 35' 5/8" nylon ropes in the saddle bags on my little Honda 350 4X4. I can link them together and pull a pig out of some fairly deep places. I'm surprised it will drag 3 pigs weighing over 450 pounds total pretty easily.

Lawman - Thanks for the info. Amazing the info you can get on here if you ask the right people.
Vern - That sounds exactly like what I was using.
