0 for 50, no joke, I put it all in this year and still drew a blank. Zero for fifty, did not imagine that it would go that bad. Decided I was all in for a draw hunt and if that failed it would be my last year trying. Well, that's that.

0-50 this year, have lots of time off and figured this was a good year to go all in, no more of this. Your right, a waste of money. Try a 3-5 and if you get lucky great.

I think that is true, many first time entries get picked multiple times, 0-50 this year, 0-8 last year, first I entered draw hunts, 3 of 9.

I feel like I have gotten the lowest success rate of all. I drew for White Oak Creek. I put a post up here for by the name of "Thought I should share this". I didn't have one percentage of a success ratio for where I am going. A gentleman told me there are deer their. It's just were they put you to hunt is the issue. Congratulations and good luck though.
There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

Just purchased my permit for Gus Engeling archery Dec 7-11. Never hunted that part of the state - pretty stoked to be amongst the hardwoods and pine.

hello, dustin wayne. i'm new to the forum. i was drawn for a whitetail/ either sex hunt nov 14th-18th. would you agree that most of the whitetail are around the river/low areas on the matador? i believe that compartments are actually chosen by groups, in the order their group was chosen. i'm trying to look over as much satellite photo stuff as i can, because i'm not familiar with the 28,000 acres at all. i would like to make the best "guess" of where i would like to hunt, as possible. any suggestions will be appreciated.
