Who are y'all using for insurance for firearms specifically?

Seems like some companies don't cover while out of the house or depreciate soem firearms too much.

Only real popular option is Historic Firearms Insurance so far.

get a personal articles policy, its kind of a rider policy. You list out each individual rifle along with serial numbers and values

Yep, you'll need a rider on your homeowners. I found this out the hard way. Had five rifles stolen last year. Homeowners only covers $1,000/firearm and you have to pay your deductible. $1,000 wouldn't have covered half of one of the scopes. Lesson learned. Quite painfully, I might add.

State Farm offered me a rider, but the price was prohibitive. It was something like $50-$75 per $1,000 of coverage. I found Eastern Insurance (Historic Firearms) to offer a much better deal.

I got additional coverage thru the NRA for like $140 year that will more than cover any losses I hope never occur.

They misquoted that, 15k is about 260 a year.

Wouldn't have been the first time they gave me the wrong information. But Eastern is still cheaper as I think a little over $300 gets you $50K in coverage.
