I have a 5.5 month old Brittany I'd like to get into the field and introduce her to birds, etc. Are there any pointing breed trainers around Houston, or land where I could work her myself? She's just a pup so mainly want to show her what a bird is and where to hunt. I'm new to this too, so we are both learning!
Thanks!

I take my pup up to Walton Ranch outside of Navasota. They open up when it cools off in a couple of months. Check them out online.

I have used Pecan Hill Kennels out of Brookshire a couple of times. They are pricy, but good.

I train on any undeveloped field away from traffic with knee high grass. Control, the dog with a check cord working on birds

The picture of you on your web site looks like a perfect place to train if there is minimal traffic near by
