I'm fish hungry. It's been too long. I brought the recipe for trout meuniere from Comanders Palace to my part of Houston in 1974. I cooked it often. It's a pan fried dish so you can't do it for a crowd like fish fries.

I gave up fishing last year and found a great substitute fish for this dish. I now use frozen cod. I'll finish this off for dinner tonight, but I have to start somewhere. The first thing you have to do is size your an for your fish. This looks perfect.

I sure hope you remove those vacuum seal bags before you turn on the burner bolt cheers

Yep. I have to bread them with my special breading mix and let them set for awhile.

What's that you say PMK? Here you go. It's beaded. Here are the ingredients for the sauce.



It came out fine. I had it with a hash brown patty, garlic toast, coleslaw and an ice cold Heineken.

It's the same as the recipes on Google, except I add cilantro instead of parsley. I use my own breading mix instead of flour. My mix is a seasoned mix of 50/50 flour aad cornstarch.

I'd put you on my buddy list if I knew how. I'm down to one a day. Next up will be minced clams Alfredo. I'll add a few shrimp in there and use some of the leftover sauce from this dish.

Sounds great. Of course I'll be looking for the beer in the photo. "Down to one a day", huh. You have more will power than I do. Looking forward to seeing the pic. Are you/were you a chef...or just a darn good cook??
