You're the man, what you say goes. What's up with you guys asking permission to buy hunting stuff. Anyhow here is how you get started. Go to your wife and say honey can I have my man parts back for a little while.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

You're the man, what you say goes. What's up with you guys asking permission to buy hunting stuff. Anyhow here is how you get started. Go to your wife and say honey can I have my man parts back for a little while. Did that work for you?? Always has The only time my wife gets bent is when I don't invite her to go fishing or hunting. That is the only time I have to borrow my man parts. She doesn't understand man time and doesn't want to because she is smart enough to convert that into "I am being left behind". She got home one day and I met her as I was going out the door. She asked where I was going and I told her Sommerville to look at a duck boat. She got very ticked off. Se we went at it right there on the porch. I thought she was ticked because I was considering buying a boat, so I was going to straighten that right out. After a few snaps and snarls on both ends she was yelling at me. I asked her "WTF are you yelling for"? She snapped back and I could see she was hurt when she said "I am your wife why can't I go too". It was all a big misunderstanding. When I told her I had no idea she would want to go her answer was "WEll Duh you dumb @$$". I told her to get in the truck and she even rat holed the money for me. Heck when I brought the pontoon duck boat project home she was out of town. When she got home she asks "Who's boat". I said "Your's". She asked "How much"? Me "$1300". She said "Isn't th=e trailer worth that"? I said "Yep". So we went and looked at it and I laid all the plans out. So yeah, it works out really well for me and my wife. If it worked any other way then we aint going to be married. I chose the right girl. Some guys choose these little sweet girls that turn into nags and they don't know how to take the reins back. I compare it to a horse that wants to run when heading back to the barn. Once they know they can take the reins from you, it is hard to get them back.

I'm pretty anxious to get out there this weekend and brush blinds. Hearing some pretty good reports for this early on the number of teal in the area! It felt like the night before opening day last night. I couldn't sleep. I kept replaying in my head that first big group of teal buzzing the decoys, making a big down wind hook, and then hovering over the decoys...
I'm with GK because I like salty old dudes.
