It looks like it may be coming out where his g2 is supposed to be, or somewhere right above and behind the g1. With the extra shorter point in the same area Id say he had an injury somewhere along the line and this is the outcome. Ive killed a few extra beamers. Normally they were injured on the opposite side of the body whether it was a small injury or large.
Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

I believe it is an injury related extra point(s). It appears to be behind the G1 and mainbeam from those pics. He also appears to have another base point on the same side. Both those would be from injury related not genetics IMO. I had a buck do something similar last year and he is normal this year.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I was thinking extra points..in any event he'll get a pass from me this year but the neighbors would look at him and think "giant buck" and kill him in a nanosecond.

Look at the angle of the meat on the tops of his hips, especially compared to the deer with him in the top pic. He's thin in a year he shouldn't be thin. I'm agreeing with RK and STX-he was injured at some point and still recovering, and the abnormal points are a result of the injury. I'm betting he's back to normal next year.

Don't think this deer is in Texas.

It's free range in Virginia....and I think he's actually in decent condition. I only posted a few photos of the deer. So far he's been nocturnal.
