Can anyone out there give me any feedback on the stoeger cougar 9mm? I have a possible chance to pick one up on trade and do not know much about them.

I had a Cougar .40 and loved that gun. I think it's just a cheaper version of the Beretta 92 platform since it's in the Beretta family.
Not as nice as a Beretta, but great little guns.

I have 2 of the Cougar 40's and really like them. My understanding is that Stoeger acquired Beretta's tooling but have no direct experience with them. I still don't know why Beretta quit making them.
