I think it's cwd you better kill it Just kidding. I've seen it but I'm never sure what causes it. Usually don't see it as severe as this case.

It 's still summer I haven't seen a deer like that yet this year and usually not that bad. Could be nothing to some kind of mite, mange or some other dermatitis thing.

Deer do get sick, and I've seen some of our livestock shed after a bad fever or even an injury. He does look a little bony, maybe?

I have never seen this . What is wrong with this deer? As QSYB mentioned that front should looks funny, That bone shouldnt be that far forward... Feavor from injury ?

Yep, all deer will do this.Bucks will loose that summer hair and slick off to a fall/winter coat within a few days of stripping of their velvet. I have some that look like that here.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?
