Well I finally did it. A buddy of mine gave me and stripped Anderson lower a couple of months ago. He has 13 AR's, most he has built himself. He gave me a Anderson lower hoping I would catch the bug, I did.

I saw where Palemetto State Armory had their Freedom kit on sale. I ordered it and yesterday I laid out my parts and laptop with a youtube and began.

Made some minor mistakes more so with the springs buy other then that pretty smooth. I impressed myself. I have heard everything from that thing is a POS to it will out shoot the high end ARs. I don't know. I'm waiting on my mount and placing a ballistic Burris 3x9. We shall see....................

I went through a similar metamorphosis.

Pass the gravy.

I don't have any idea why anyone would say a PSA rifle is a POS. Whoever said that must not own one. I personally have 3 of them. It's almost impossible to build a nicer gun for the money.

Agreed. I own two and they're great guns for the price point.

There is an initial investment of tools (vice, receiver blocks, punch set, AR wrench, etc) but once you get that cost out of the way it becomes quite economical!
