Finally didn't settle and got exactly what I have wanted. Excited for this year is an understatement! Any choke reccomendations?

I use the browning Midas chokes in my maxus. They seem to pattern well and have done well for me.

Great choice! Love mine, shoot factory IC for everything. Only change I've made was late season last year, used a PM code black duck and it made 40 yd shots feel like decoy shots. Through a ton of options I found the factory IC loves 1 1/4 oz of 4's at 1450fps, faster or bigger pellets gave inconsistent patterns at 30yds.
Enjoy!

I don't know about chokes but you better invest in a good recoil pad, my maxus was the hardest kicking 12ga I have ever shot. Sold it as fast as I could. Good luck

It not then you must either be 70 years old or 10 years old. Any gas gun is going have lower recoil than an inertia gun. No way the Maxus kicks harder than the A5 or the SBE. I've shot the browning silver, SX3 and A400. All these guns have super low recoil especially the A400. I shoot the new A5 and while it does kick a little more I don't notice it unless I shoot it back to back with my silver. Again hope you are just joking.

I love my Maxus and I use a kicks high flyer choke. Only complaint I have with mine is that it's in MODU and not shadow grass.

I have a Silver Pigeon .410 bore that's great for dove hunting. 20 gauge is the largest I ever shoot on dove.

That is a great shooting gun for waterfowl, maybe the best. Unfortunately mine did the choking all by itself. No additional parts or effort were needed on my end.

No I'm not kidding about the recoil of the maxus I owned, bought it used and maybe it was just wore out but it sure kicked. All I shot thought it was dove load. I have the new a5 a few benelli's, a400 and Remington sp-10 and they are all have 12ga recoil but the maxus kicks harded that anything I've ever shot. Just got a bad gun I guess

Thanks for the reccomendations everyone, guess I knew the answer before I asked but thought I would. Gonna have to go pattern it to see for myself, bummer gotta go shoot this weekend instead of honey-do's!
