Trying to determine primary differences in these guns.
Both are 700
Both have synthetic stocks
Trying to understand where the $200 difference is.

ADL doesn't have a hinged floor plate and must be manually emptied by cycling the action.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

It could cost more than $200 to have the stock inletted and the parts for hindged floor plate. You could go one better and have CDI inlet the stock for their bottom metal (free) and spend $200 for detachable mag bottom metal. Of course Accuracy International mags aren't cheap, but they are more user friendly than a hindged floor plate and very very tough.

Or you could by an SPS stock and bottom metal off eBay for less than $100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Remington-700-BD...=item23573936dc

Did the same years ago when I converted my BDL from the heavier wood stock to a synthetic. That may sound crazy to swap BDL nice stock to synthetic but I got that BDL for $299 back in 1983. It was a heavy dog.
