I have a Browning Auto 5 Light in 12 gauge for sale. Fires only 2 3/4" shells. Barrel length is 28" with vent rib and fixed MODIFIED choke. FN Belgian made in 1969.
I bought this gun as a "fixer up". The stock was horrible (the finish was worn and cracking), there were light spots of rusting, and it failed to cycle. After some intensive cleaning, oiling, and stock refinishing, she is now gorgeous and working again.
The stock has been refinished with a semi-gloss poly. All the checkering still remains and is strong. No cracks or major dings. One light ding near the butt-plate. The light rust was removed and its not very noticeable where that was. Bluing is about 80% as what remains is still deep, dark blue. I dissembled the entire firearm, cleaned and oil everything internally and she functions like new.
$600 FTF in the Tomball area. Willing to meet halfway if its not too far.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
This pic shows where the light rust was on the action. When I got it the rust was just surface rust and it appears it was cold blued at sometime.
This pic is where the surface rust was on the barrel.
