 Young County report?

Any of my fellow young county hunters been seeing any deer around? I went up to camp a few weeks ago and the grass was taller than I've ever seen it out there. I saw a small 8 while refilling feeders, but that was it.
No one had a gun in our hands and we just watched it go. One guy threw his beer can at it.. just in really good shape and also hopefully flip the switch a little faster on my wife.

It's looking a litle better from what I've seen. Deer look real healthy. I think our numbers are still off, to the drought. I reckon it'll take s few years of good rain to get back where we were 10 years ago. That was a long & bad drought for the Young County area.

Yeah I believe 10 years ago was a pretty good time for us. There wasn't a mornin i didn't see at least 4 deer.

We have some nice young bucks hanging around... All will get a pass this year... We culled the past two years.. And has some really good bucks show up late in the season hopefully we get a shot at them this year I need to go out and check my cameras

Headed to the lease this weekend for a work day then staying to dove hunt the rest of the weekend. Over the past two seasons ive been on the lease weve had lots of does and young bucks. only one mature 9 point has been taken.
