Received an email PSA is offering a new 7mm-08 upper. Anyone on here shoot an AR platform in 7mm-08? If so, what are the pros and cons?

Watch out for the PA10's almost all their parts are proprietary to PSA. They've also had a lot of problems out of them. Google the PSA PA10 and you'll find several problems. With them being proprietary you can't find parts for them unless through PSA. PSA makes great stuff it just blows my mind why they went this route with the PA10 they could have cornered the market with their quality and prices.

I thought only the takedown pen was proprietary.

This is a direct quote from PSA from ARFCOM

Quote:
Front and rear take down pins (longer)
The bolt catch (larger)
The Mag catch
The carbine buffer tube (longer)
Carbine and rifle buffers (shorter)
The PA10 stripped upper receiver is low profile, but the PA10 configuration is mostly proprietary. We can only guarantee that PA10 parts will be compatible with other PA10 parts.

Also the uppers and lowers are not AR10/LR308 compatible a PSA PA10 upper will not fit on a DPMS/Armalite lower vise versa with PA10 lowers and DPMS/Armalite uppers.

Well maybe I'll after clear of the .308 and 7mm from PSA. I have a 5.56 and 6.8 from PSA and both shoot really well. Looks like they missed the mark.

Yea, Mine and my buddies PSA 5.56's run like tops. I was really looking forward to the PA10. With some of PSA's daily deals you could put together a 600-700 dollar 308 AR platform rifle compared to the others that start at around $1200. Like you said, I think PSA missed the mark on this one.
