So, if you are out in the wild, where your cell phone doesn't work, or you use a conventional phone instead of a smart phone, this caller will not work for you.

Awesome Bob. I have never been able to call a Badger, I bet that was cool. I have only been able to snare them.

Chick-Not at all. It is based on your Blue Tooth. You do not need any cell signal. You do need either an iPhone of Android though.
SS Thanks-This is the 3rd badger I have called in. I had shot several over the years as targets of opportunity, but had not called one in until a couple of years ago. Then, I called in two with a month in two different Counties. Go figure!

I don't use the IPhone or Android. Screens are too small for me and the net, and the phone is too big for me to carry it in my bluejean pocket. Maybe I could use it with my tablet, but I don't think the Bluetooth carries that far. Guess I will stick with my FoxPro.

The Bluetooth carries just fine with the app.
