I purchased a bow a few weeks ago and have been shooting 2-3 times a week at 20 yards. Its been fun, but I had a lot to learn and still have even more to learn. I've gotten to the point where I can generally get 2 arrows in the white but its not often I get all three in there with 2 x's so I had to take a picture. I wanted to say thank you to all of you for answering my questions and providing knowledge that I otherwise wouldn't have received. This target sheet was used quite heavily before I started shooting so all of those off center shots are not mine.

"This target sheet was used quite heavily before I started shooting so all of those off center shots are not mine. smile" Yeah, I use that line a lot, too. Just kidding, good shooting! Fred

redfred, Though they aren't all mine, I will admit that 1 or 2 might be. Well, maybe 3 or 4 of them are. Come to think of it maybe a handful or two of them are mine. Now that I think about it maybe a lot of them. Well crud, at least I can say they aren't ALL mine. Maybe I should go to Church tonight?

That's why we do the three most important things in archery. Practice, practice and practice.

Am I the only one that shoots one arrow pers "spot" and retrieves it....I found it makes me "think" right and saves on fletchings!
The way things should be are not often the way things are.....

looks like Archery Country... ask em for a new target and flip it over to a 5 spot. Save yourself 30bucks on arrows.
And Good Shooting! Matt

Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?

Once I'm grouping "nock bustin" tight I'll increase the distance. I doubt I even shoot 50 arrows a year into the target bag though. Never been the one that shoots over and over.
