As some of you know, I run a company called Map My Ranch...well, we've been trying to figure out which logo we should use for a big marketing campaign we're about to launch, and figured I'd ask y'all which one you like better.

Which one do you prefer, and why?

I'd go with the top one but I wouldn't split the words (I'd put them all across the top).

You could add the buck behind the 1st one, just shade it nearly obscure grey.

And do the words like QuitShootinYoungBucks said

First one. Wouldn't want to give potential clients the idea that you are exclusive to hunting ranches.

Do you just map Texas or other states also?

I like the top one best. If you were soliciting Texas, I would have the geographical image of the state with the star inside.

Other than the font in the middle of the top one looking out of place, I like that one. If you import a custom compass rose on the maps, the logo could serve dual purpose.

Neither say to me map. If I were you I would use the buck head or some other figure and use a map of Texas as the back ground instead of black.

I'd say neither. Send my son an email and he'll "brand" your company for ya.

I don't think either one really fits what your company does. If I had to choose, it would be the top one.

Top but not crazy about either. Both are to common looking. Just my opinion

I would not choose either one. There is a guy on the TFF selling logos for around $100 that does a pretty good job. May want to give him or Blazin's son a go at it. Since your company does maps you should consider working the map idea in the logo.

Stub - We map all over the U.S. and some other countries.

I like the badge but as others said maybe something with the map. I think the badge on the corner of an antiquated map of yours. The badge makes me think of the good ol days of Walker Texas Ranger. I normally am not into the Texas star thing but like the badge.
