Trego county
Bud just inherited a bunch of land just south of there. Anybody know if there's deer in that area? Any info is appreciated.

Yes, we Pheasant hunted up there about 3 years ago and saw some deer. Not a lot but some. But we were mostly north of wakeeny.

Yes! My buddy that lives in NE Kansas but has hunted in Wakeeney for 11 years. He's taken two 170's and one 200" among many other "smaller" deer in the 130-150 range! I've hunted with him there once. Western KS is awesome because there aren't a lot of trees. When you find trees...the deer are in them. You'll see a few Muleys come through as well.

Nice buddy to have - buy him a big steak dinner tonight, cut his yard for him, etc.

Deer AND Pheasant! Cool
