You want something that is magnum rated and light weight. I have a YHM Mite and a Huntertown Micro Guardian and they both work well. The Huntertown was $120 and is a great bargain suppressor.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I'm waiting on a stamp for a Spectre II. I've been very happy with Silencerco products. This is my third one.

I've got a Spectre II also, and think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I've also got a Griffin Armament Checkmate QD on the way; but it will be another month or so before it gets here. If you do things remotely, but in Texas, it takes about 2.5 weeks longer than just picking up your goodies in Austin. I've done both; if you're near Austin, it's easy to just pick things up in person.

I second the SilencerCo option. They also have an NFA form that is as easy as pie on their website to complete. I can't remember the cost for the trust they offer but think it is less than $150 but def less than $200.

I'd do a little reading on that trust, there was a thread a while back that showed some huge inconsistencies with what they were offering and what was needed. Lawyers only charge 200-300 to do trusts, a much better option than filling one out online.

Spectre II x2 really makes shooting much more enjoyable. CCI segmented subsonic in a bolt gun is silent death with the Spectre II. Run them on 22 mag and 17 hmr as well. One buddy runs one on a 22tcm with great results and another on a 5.7x28 pistol as well. I'm a silencerco fan but my last can is from griffin armament, they are producing some nice stuff too.

I have the SilencerCo Spectre II as well. It's rated for .17 HMR, .22 LR, .22 MAG, and 5.7x28 FN. It's super quiet out of a .22 LR bolt rifle and still very quiet out of a .22 LR semi-auto pistol. With the rifle, all you hear as the shooter is the firing pin and then the target being hit. It's that quiet. I have a trust and bought mine through SilencerShop. Decided to drive down and pick it up in person. I had wanted a SilencerCo Sparrow, but they had a deal on the Spectre II that I could not pass up. I have zero regrets. After shooting the rifle below, I have 2 friends building the same rifle with different scopes.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.
