He hit his tail and wounded it. Infection set in and it inches up his tail. His tail is dying and at times he ate his own tail off. The vet said there was no saving it at this point and they cut it above the infection. I'm going to have a 10 year old lab with a bob tail.

Not sure what cold tail is

Mine messed up the very end of her tail from happy tail and every once in a while it will split again but the vet says it's ok.

Dang that sucks. I think a lab with a bob tail would look pretty cool. I like bob tailed cats better than normal cats.

Cold tail is just a muscle strain that usually goes away in a few days.

Labs actually use their tail as a rudder in swimming.

Here is Diesels new tail. The infection was making its way. He's happy
