Picked up my Dead Air Sandman L from Capitol Armory last week. Went out to the range to range and tried it on Saturday, it was measuring 103F at the range in the shade.
Mounted it on my Remington 700 308. Shot with just brake to re-zero it first. First shot with suppressor was .1 mil up and left. Not bad! Didn't think about doing another shot to see where it landed though, not sure of a cold suppressor is the same as cold bore.
I left my rear bag at home so had to use the first aid kit bag that came with my car. I was able to shoot .5 MOA using 168gr FGMM at 100 yards and should be able to do better next time with proper bag and maybe not as much sweat in my eyes.
It was quiet and the guys at the range were impressed. Didn't get to try it without ear muffs as it was busy. I don't have another rifle suppressor yet to compare it to besides an Osprey on 300Blk.
One thing I couldn't do was test repeatability with taking the can on and off. Forgot to bring gloves.
