BHO is now booking Dove Hunts. We have 60 available spots in Dodd City at Big Hat Cattle Co. (3200 Acres) just minutes outside of Bonham, TX in Fannin County. Six prime fields that are spotted out sunflower. See map of the Big Hat Ranch and field setups. First come first serve and groups can book out and reserve a whole field in advance.

We will have a cook onsite the entire opening weekend in the bunkhouse, if you want to purchase breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you choose to hunt multiple days, we do have places for campers (limited hookups) to set up or make camp and tent it with your group.

Great deal at $50 per day a gun and this is our opening special from Sept 1st. through Labor Day. This is our first year opening the ranch up to the public as for many years it has always been select groups of hunters allowed out. Don't miss out and book early as slots will fill up quick. Please be sure to message the day you want and how many guns. We will get back with you and confirm your reservation once it is slotted.

Filling up.... We have decided that we won't hunt these fields till Saturday Morning (Opening Weekend).

We have had some people ask about package deals for saturday, Sunday and Monday labor day weekend as well we have some news to share about an event that weekend.

We will be offering the following packages.

All three days 1 gun per day (shoot all day) - $125
1 day 1 gun (shoot all day) with three meals (yes we will have a cook on sight that weekend) - $100
3 day 1 gun (shoot all day) with three meals a day - $250

Also, either on Saturday or Sunday evening we will have some local bands out picking and singing at the bunkhouse. Right now we have Chase Sanford and his band confirmed.

We have room for tent camping and actually have an RV with A/C that can sleep three (First come first serve) - Camper rents out at $20 a person a night, or 3 people at $60... you get the idea.
We have one spot for camper hook up left as well and that is $20 a night.
If you don't want to camp or stay on the property, Bonham is only 10 minutes away has motels.

It is always a big bash on labor day weekend at the ranch and this is our first year to open it up to the public for hunters. Don't miss out on a great deal!

Since we won't be allowing any hunting until Saturday the 5th on the ranch, we have opened up a couple of fields in Tom Beam, TX. Those fields are on milo and lots of birds. Have only booked a few groups on those fields during the week so get in on the $50 a gun (a day) as it expires after labor day weekend.
