Just picked up the Rio Texas Game Load, 1 1/4 oz 7 1/2 shot 12 ga for 54.90 a case. This was the Academy in Fort Worth on Cherry Ln. They're marked 54.90 but rang up $89. They'll correct the price at the register. There's a pallet full on display....

Was gonna stop in at the local academy, parking lot full, told the wife drive on, I don't deal with crowds well. Will get what I need in middle of the week.

I thought it was a good price for High Brass Shells. Where did you find them for $49?

I like those shells but will tear up my shoulder if using my over/under. I wish they made the Texas load in 20 gauge

I called that Academy and they won't honor the price to me. It's a mistake, the Rio 1oz target loads are 54.90 per case. Some kid labeled it wrong. The Texas game loads are $8.99 per box at all Academy's. They are $9.99 at Gander Mountain. Enjoy that price you paid

Those high brass Rio loads kick way too much for me! I prefer lighter loads for dove hunting.

No deals last weekend at the Academy by my house. I don't think that there ever are because of its location. On a positive note, there was absolutely no line for a license. My son and I walked right up and got them. up

DicksSportingGoods has a 100pack of Winchester AA shells on sale for $28.98 (and after a 8.00 Win Rebate - only $20.98).
Pretty decent deal for AA shells!

Saw this at walmart Lewisville yesterday (cheapest 1 1/8 shells I've seen anywhere - $4.94 / 25):

I'm surprised that place is normally always high. Good price though. Academy had the Estate 2 3/4, 1 1/8 8 shot for $6.49 last weekend. I picked up two cases and they had them mispriced to $5.49 so they honored it.
