These Barn Swallows/Mud Wrens nest on my front porch every year. They make a mess, but I enjoy having them around. These young ones are almost ready to take to the air on their own.

There is five of them packed in this wonder they make such a mess.

I walk 3 times a week by a custom home that's almost finished in my neighborhood. It looks nice, but I bet the barn swallows are going to love it. Lots of ledges tucked up under the eaves. It's barn swallow heaven.

They follow me when I cut our grass. I guess it's like a buffet to them when I stir up all of the insects and such.
