I just got my cameras up and going. Usually I have an idea of how the year is going to be.
Can anyone share their opinion on how they think the deer are looking? I prefer Stonewall, Kent, Fisher county information. But will take any opinions. I'll have my own in a week or two.

Cams have been slow on my end the last couple months in Archer county.

The rains have resulted in a lot of free groceries out there (even got 3 inches of rain 2 weeks ago at the place), so the action has been pretty dismal...

Predictions say this winter is supposed to be pretty cold, so hopefully the first frost will come fierce and early to kill off all the green stuff.

Just gotta stay positive and hunt hard when the time comes!

Same here. Cams got cold as the weather got hot. I had been getting pics of 8 different bucks, all over 13" wide, including a couple of wallhangers.

Not any doe or fawns though. They'll be showing up soon, I'm sure.

Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.

I thought they'd be more nocturnal with this heat but not so
they come out often in day

Bucks look good. Looks like you may need to doctor for foot rot soon.

So far all I have is three little 8 pointers running around at my place. The biggest one might be a good first deer for my wife if he's legal. I'm still not positive, but think that once he loses his velvet, he might not be wide enough. There where a couple much bigger ones last year, so I'm hoping they come back
