I had been debating buying the Dish TV Tailgater for my TT to be able to watch football and weather projections at the hunting lease. I was going to pony up the $375 or more to get one. I did a search for one on the Internet and Nebraska Furniture Mart has them on sale for $199.99. I ordered it online Sunday night and it was delivered to my house on Tuesday afternoon for free. This is/was a helluva deal in my opinion.

Do you have to aim the tailgater or will it find the sattelites? Seems to be a good deal alright.

The Dish Tailgater has one of those funny looking cube antennas. Manual says the antenna has to have a clear view of the southern sky to locate the satellites.

Does this use the same ID card like the home unit?

This one has a pay as you go feature for RVers. I think you can use the card though from a home unit. This is my first system. I am still figuring it out.
