Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, but I searched and couldn't find it. When applying for public hunting permits, many of them list a "Fee per adult". Is this fee charged if you are awarded a permit, or when you show up? I'm trying to figure out if I can apply for multiple permits on the same wknds. I know the chances are probably small that I would get drawn for more than one. But if I do, am I on the hook for multiple fees?

Thanx in advance smile

There is a fee for the draw, then a separate fee if you are drawn.

Your answer is no, you will not be charged the hunt permit fee. Once you are drawn, you will have a deadline to pay the permit fee to go on that hunt. If you get drawn for 2 different hunts on the same dates, you will have to choose which one you want to go on, if you decide to go at all. Anyway, the hunt you don't go on or don't pay the permit fee, it will go to the second chance drawing or maybe end up being a stand by spot.
