Do a 45 Colt and 45-70 use the same shell holder?

45 Colt listings don't list 45-70, and I have found two different shell holders that list 45-70 on cabelas site, just wondering if anyone knows if they are the same or what the shell holder number is for an RCBS or Hornady holder.

Thanks.

Not the same. Do not have the Hornady manual handy but it lists what shell holder to use for different cartridges and even references other manufactures shell holder numbers

I started looking at some of them. The die set I bought was supposed to come with a shell holder and 2 extra decapping pins. Its a hornady set. Ill have to look again, but im pretty sure it came with the extra decaping pins and no shell holder. Ill look when I get home.

I C&P into Word, and print it out to keep in reloading log book. You might want to delete some odd balls because it is about 5 or 6 pages.
