Well the range is cleared out to 600, dang bulldozer guy underestimated the required work/time it would take to clear 1000yrdsx100yrds...... but what he got done is very nice now just waiting on a new gas tank for the welder to get the hand rail up so no one fall off the tower......... the range is oriented wsw which produce almost full value wind 95% of the time...

here is a pic of the end of the day w/ the 300wsm

a target at 535 static chest plate with reactive head

and for variety sake a little scatter gun #2 HV at 20yrds

Looks like a nice setup.

It's lots of work, but you will enjoy it.

yeah unnecessary work as I had already built perfect 700yrd range several years ago. then the new neighbor complained that stray bullets might impact on their side of the fence...... I told him that's not really a possibility as I never miss confused2

To keep the peace I started new construction right next to the fence but now the range is parallel as you can see in the pictures. neighbor actually tried to get me to take down the 10'x20'x10' tower as he was concerned a "hunter" might climb up there and shoot over the high fence at "his" deer...... duel i replied i doubt that will be the case as i know the quality of deer you have, nothing on your side of the fence remotely interests me.... I just wish there cabin was closer as I like shooting at first light.........hell even a night training exercise in required now and again
