i bet a few folks could help you out with some blood if that is what you need.

Stuff my dad said in the deer blind

"I can dive deeper and come up drier"
"did you do that?"

I thought about recommending you, but I didn't know if you had any recent jumpers.

The Pup did awesome! The Huntress made a perfect shot for a tracking pups first time! This cocker was only 7 months old and never worked a fresh trail or blood that I'm aware of. Not 100% sure. We seen lots of axis but no shot was good. So got back in truck about 8:15 pm and seen a doe on a hill side. Aron smoked her. Perfect lung shot. I asked do you want to go grab pup? She said "heck yes"! So we got the pup. We walked him to where deer was shot and he nailed it where she was shot! Pup went to working like a champ! He blazed a trail to many blood spots. He got lost a time or two but without command he got right back on track! From an outsider anyone would have thought this 7 month old pup was a pro! He was amazing. And it was his first track to my knowledge. He went right to the deer and was stoked! I was very pleased with the way he worked and I would love to own him! The lady that trains these dogs is amazing! And I hear from one of my guides she is even better with bird dogs! She is the real deal guys if any one is looking for a great dog trainer with a heart for dogs she is it! I have seen it first hand. Sorry for the long speech but I was very impressed with the way she treated her customers dog and the love she has for dogs and training them the correct way!

It is really cool to watch blood dogs work. I bet that was fun for a first time track. Sounds like someone is going to have a good dog.

Outstanding experience with Cody and Billy at Guadalupe Outfitters - really fine people and a quality fair chase hunt. Would recommend without reservation.

Just saw this post. I'm in San Antone until Sunday and would like to find an axis doe hunt as well... Or any other exotic.

Thanks

Mike

Had a great hunt. I'm already back to my room on the river walk with a cooler filled up with an axis doe. Guide was great, comfortable blind, and beautiful property. I would highly recommend Guadalupe Outfitters.
