For those of you on a year round lease, who cuts the dove hunting lanes in the sunflower fields? The hunting group or the landowner?

There is not a rule on it. But if a land owner does days leases, you can bet he will be cutting the lanes and shredding strategically to harvest and hold the most dove. If he leases out for the season, and he gets his money up front, if there is nothing worked out up front about all this he probably will not do any shredding...

Some of our cheapest stuff the landowner does it and some of our more expensive stuff we have to do it. No rhyme or reason just what ever is negotiated.
