ARs are getting out of control lol. What happened to functionality? Here lately it's all about who can trick out an AR more crazy than the next guy. I just want an AR that shoots straight and goes pow when I pull the trigger. Now functional upgrades I'm all for but these wild paint schemes with skulls and wild colors do nothing for me. I got in a big argument on another site for telling a guy that he didn't need a $2000+ AR to kill pigs in his back yard, you would've thought I was the antichrist. I was accused of knowing nothing about quality, not having any friends, and not actually being a gunsmith. Stupidity is rampant, what can you do? SMH...

Clanging steel at 200 from the standing puts a big grin on my face. Peep sights really are accurate and the only thing I see optics do better is quicker acquisition. Word for word my story.

Did everyone notice that the forward assist will also drop the bolt? That's their big claim to innovation. Everything else has already been done. So for righty's, your supposed to be lightning quick. All you have to do after loading a new mag, is unwrap you thumb from the grip, and push the right side forward assist, to drop the bolt. or I can never break grip and use that handy thing on my left side of my body MY OTHER HAND! It is free, I never come off the cheek weld and hit the release with my left hand that is already indexed closer to the release than my left thumb is to my forward assist... His silencer was WAY WAY over hyped, they had REDICULOUS claims... this is the same... Why 2 forward assists, I've used my a handful of time sure but still why need 2? two barrels? ok, two forward assits.... No need for the double barreled rig but I did watch some vids on the Cobalt Kinetics guns. They are pretty well made, check them out on you tube
