I have a Remington 700 5r milspec I would like to put up for sale. It has the original 24" barrel and is chambered in .308 Win. I bought this rifle used from a gentleman who advised he had 1,100-1,200 rounds through it. I have put no more than 200 rounds through it since I purchased it. I also added a Mcree Chassis with NV mount and stock pack. I also have a rail section to mount a bipod to. I have taken very good care of the rifle and have been really happy with it, but my department is switching to semi-auto's. I have ran federal gold medal match 175gr. through it since I have had it and had achieved consistent .5moa groups out to 200 yards. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot any farther than that since owning it.
I also will be selling the scope I have on it since I got a newer one for my semi-auto. It's a Gen 1 Vortex Razor 5-20X50 with EBR-1 MOA reticle. It has a few small blemishes and the battery cap for the illumination shows wear, but the glass is excellent. I have everything it came with except the bubble level and objective lens cover (I have a Leupold cover on it now). It sits in 35mm low ARC rings and I would like to sell them together.
What's included in the sale:
-Rem 700 5r Milspec .308 Win
-Timney 510 trigger
-Mcree G5 folding chassis in FDE
-Mcree forward NV mount
-Mcree rail section for bipod
-Mcree stock pack
-Mcree 5 round magazine
-Alpha 10 round magazine
-Seekins 20MOA base
-Original stock glass bedded to action with Karsten cheek piece and Seekins DBM
What's NOT included in sale:
-Weird white piece of fuzz in that one pic (negotiable)
I will sell the rifle without the Mcree chassis and accessories, but I won't sell the rifle without the original stock. Only reason for this is because the original stock was bedded to that rifle and wouldn't be much good to anyone but the owner of this rifle.
Cost for the rifle plus chassis and whatnot was a little over $2k. Im looking to get $1,600 OBO. I will discuss shipping with serious buyers, but I would rather a FTF deal in the DFW TX area so I can ensure the buyer is happy. I can do cash or USPS MO. I would accept Paypal if I could, but a guy from gun broker mentioned a gun in a previous transaction and got me booted off for life.
For the scope and rings, I'm wanting to get $1,300.
I would sell the everything for $2,800.
I have done business for a while on this site and have had nothing but good feedback and experiences. I take my feedback seriously, so if you have any questions or want any specific pictures please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate as soon as I can. There are no problems whatsoever with this rifle and scope and I am confident you will be very happy with it.
Now for the pics ,
