Between golf and hunting seems that I enjoy costlier recreations. Other than gambling/drinking, what are your most expensive vices? Conservatively I probably spend about $3-4K per deer season and another $3-5K annually for my golf fix. That said, can't say I'd ever stop doing either and taking an extra nice vacation or something like that.. What about you all?

I don't but my best friend does.

I've been fishing offshore for more than a decade, both my own boat and friend's boats. I'm pretty familiar with what it takes.

I do not want to add up my hunting bills....land I own with all that goes with hunting it, lease for Mule Deer in West Texas, and going to Kansas to hunt. I really don't want to even start to add that up.

Take up bass fishing. I've spent enough in the last 30 years to go to the Yukon at least 5 times. rifle

And that's just entry level, get into Big Game Fishing and you can drop multi million dollars for the boat, then incur 7 figure annual costs employing a crew and campaigning in the billfish circuit. The only thing that costs more is yacht racing.

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

Not too bad for me, one major hunt each year to Colorado is about it, somne golf thrown in here and there.

I guess it depends a lot on each fellas POV, I golf when I can and especially if a round is on sale like at Ideal golf, no way in hell I'd pay what they want here for a membership. I don't need $2000 golf clubs, because I cant golf at a 2k level LOL

Hunting no.1, just got a bay boat so fishing is a close runner up. Don't have time or any other hobbies

But hey, fun ain't free. It's money well spent imo

Sporting clays- between guns (cuz you can't ever have just one), ammo, practice rounds, and shoots- can't even figure out how much!

Hunting- between leases and the occasional guided duck or goose hunt- also way too much!

Can't and won't give up either!

Hunting, offshore fishing, bass fishing, golf, chasing wimmins, drinking whiskey, etc. I gave up offshore fishing because it was the most expensive of all of it. I have not played golf recently due to shoulder problems. I still bass fish and hunt regularly. I had to quit chasing wimmins for my continued good health. roflmao

Some damn good advice Scooter. up

Typically I keep a pretty close eye on expenses. As far as hunting and fishing.........

Not about to total up what's been spent/will be on bag's of corn/feeder's/fuel, etc.

The bank has yet to call and say "STOP IT" so we'll keep on a rollin.

Outside of hunting that. Let me plenty for land, guns, blinds, feed, etc, then the next most expensive hobby is all those philosophy books the run into a couple hundred bucks every year or two. It's about killing me.

Hunting is prob $3000 a year, gun & related accessories prob $3,000 a year, Jeep with trips included takes about another $1500, ATV with trips included takes about $3000, and traveling with wife takes about $7-$10,000.
I had to ditch my classic car/ need for speed habit a while back. That was taking probably $15K a year because of a short attention span, and that's if nothing broke.

I first make sure all my families needs and financial obligations are met then I plan a couple hunts for the year. Usually 5-6K, then I take an annual tuna chasing trip with some buddies that normally runs me between 5-7 hundred. I saltwater fish around my home a couple times a month and usually try and make a crappie trip or two in the spring but those trips rarely cost more than 50-75 bucks so I don't budget for them. Elk

I'm a very competitive tennis player, so whenever someone moves into our neighborhood that's better than me, I hire a contract killer to take them out.

Relax people, it's not what it sounds like - I only have 1 of their knee caps blown, but it's still a lot of dough to fork out because it turns out I'm not very good at tennis.
