Debating on installing a suppressor for my boys 6.5CM. Chad sent me the link for crux but there too expensive. Do you know of any middle of the road suppressor that won't cost a grand. I'm not educated on suppressors so bear with me.

I've had good results with my Griffin Armament PHS.

This. Get on silencershop.com. I have two form 1 suppressors but will be buying a commercial can soon. I think I will go with either an Omega or a Harvestor.

I have a YHM 7.62QD Ti that I run on my 6.5CM. Pretty light and not too expensive. You can get the non titanium version for around $600. I've had it for almost 5 years and have zero complaints. Hearing safe quiet and reduces recoil very well.

Thanks, can't wait to get it threaded and put together. I never shot a suppressed rifle before so my two boys may be fighting me instead each other to get a turn to shoot.

Even though the Crux is $1,000 they are very nice. I have the Archangel and ARK30. Being that you have to wait for form approval get all the paperwork and pay for stamp and get the one you want. It is a lifetime investment and the last thing you want is to be unhappy with your choice over a couple hundred bucks. Not that any of the suppressors mentioned are bad, just get the one you want over saving a few bucks.

The 6.8 is the #1 choice for hunting deer and hogs in an AR15

Dumb question #1. Do you still need form approval if you have an FFL?

yes. and you can not do the transfer yourself unless you are a SOT 3 or 7 (depending on your FFL Type)

What type of FFL do you have? Are you an SOT as well?

I own GT and AAC. Both great suppressors. FYI- the 6.5 CM is not going to be that quiet with a suppressor.
