Ramball36 and I did a little trading and I ended up with one of his ground fill feeders. Since he's a shrewd trader(I.e., tightwad!) it was the basic version. I took advantage of the cool evening last night (ha) and got it ready to go. Had an old switch box sitting around so I decided to make my first outfit with a "remote" control box. Added a Primos Vault unit, battery, solar panel and some conduit and called it good. Whatever you hear about him, don't believe it- he does good work...

Ramball36 does build great feeders.
I'm using one of his 400lb stand and fill and love it.
Be sure and use that anchor loop that he mounted on crossbar.
My brother purchased the same feeder that you just traded for. He anchored it down with a ground auger and turnbuckle.
