Hello everyone....a newbie here!
I have a quick question about obtaining a TX hunting license because I'm not sure which one I should be getting.
I am an international student, been in TX for about 3 years and according to the requirements listed on TPWD's website , I should be able to get a TX resident hunting license. But don't know if being an international student changes things. Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Call TPW at the 4200 Smith School Road HQ location in Austin...and be sure to get the persons NAME and Job Position Title & write it down who tells you what you want to know.

If you have resided within the state of Texas for the last 6 months, you are considered a resident. I believe that is the regs on that.
So, if you have been living here for the last 3 years, you should be good to go on a resident license.

You will need a drivers license and social security number too.

Thank you everyone for your responses!
I do have a TX Driver's License and SSN. So I should be good to get a resident hunting license, but will confirm with TPWD before placing an order just in case.
