I have a question, hopefully not a stupid question. I have a feeder with a external battery box and timer. I like this setup. It's a moultre setup.

My question is are there just motors and spinner (moultre preferred) that do no have a timer? I'm having a heck of a time finding one.....

If they don't exist I guess I will just bypass the timer on the new one??

So you are just wanting to buy a new motor?

I don't know the proper name. The plastic housing which includes the motor, and spinner which mounts on the bottom of the barrel. Not looking for a replacement motor.

I understand, but not being a fan of plastic FCU's I would suggest to stay away from plastic, critters like it too much. Years ago Magnum Feeders used to make a Photo cell unit was nothing more than a piece of 3" aluminum bent like channel. underneath it there was a short piece of 3" pvc which held the photo cell components along with encasing the small motor. I used to have to cut a hole in the bottom of the barrel to store the battery and run wires. you could build something like that, but I like the self contained metal units of today much gooder.

I bought some like this link-Academy cheap feeder
to get the metal housing/motor ; tossed the included 'photo control'.
They're $33 now, but I got mine on sale for like $24.95

Thank you for the information. Old oak that mount won't work on my feeder.

This setup is off the beaten path. It's a low impact kinda place so I want to keep what's there, there without changing to much.

I may call moultre like suggested.

Who would have thought this would be a pain!!! ????

Old oak those have the timer included. I may have to go back to that style though.

Get one with a simple analog timer. I don't know of one's that have a motor and run without a timer
